Mend My Back Program Brand Design
Because of the novel nature of the product it was important to have a name and logo that self-identified. Hence having the name of the company display next to the glyph to form the logo.
The visual recalls a person standing. The body follows the natural curves of a typical healthy spine.
The arms of the character are in a slight concave shape reminding us the smile of a person living with a pain-free back.
The head of the character and the word "my" are emphasized by a dark orange color. A sign of high energy, optimism, and rejuvenation. It's also one of the owner's preferred colors.
The Mend My Back Program glyph is used on a white circle for the website's favicon, and used in documents or webpages with limited space.

Keauhou Hideaway Hawaii Rental House Brand Design
The Keauhou Hideaway rental house is a peaceful property with a 180 degree view on the ocean and sunset from the slopes of the Hualalai.
The initial inspiration was the yellow Hibiscus, which is the State of Hawaii's official flower. Although in this case we opted for a pink Hibiscus.
The pink flower inspires warmth, calmness and a hint of self-abandonment to the enchanting vibe of the Pacific islands. The green leaves surrounding the flower are its stem and leaves. We could have simply used the flower alone, but the stem and leaves were intentionally added to remind us of the vivid green lush vegetation of the Hawaiian archipelago.
The logo is a reminder of the welcoming, warming and wrapping feeling of lush tropical vegetation found on the Hawaiian islands. It also alludes to the property's 2.7 acres of beautiful landscape.
The logo is enriched by rental house's name "Keauhou Hideaway" in blue color, as a reminder of the blue ocean, and capitalized sculpted-like font.
